I just realized I do not understand tubeless tires.

My tire that is less than one year old had a small nail in it. I took it to Walmart to have it fixed. They said the nail was too close to the sidewall and DOT regs will not allow them to fix it. Now I am $100 poorer. We, however can put a plug in it.
